Effective leadership is ultimately the ability to influence others: your team, your clients, your stakeholders, your peers. This programme is built around exactly that, with behavioural science as the method and AI as the instrument to work faster and sharper.

Every leadership team goes through the same development. The breakthrough to the performing phase doesn’t require more motivation or talent. It requires a different context. And that can be designed.
What is Influential Leadership? Influential Leadership is a five-month leadership programme by SUE Behavioural Design that combines behavioural psychology with practical leadership design. The programme transforms management teams into high-performance leadership teams — not by changing the people, but the context they operate in.
People get to know each other. Roles are unclear. Everyone is polite and cautious.
First tensions emerge. Differences in priority and style become visible.
There are implicit rules of the game. Conflicts are avoided. The team functions, but doesn’t perform.
The team leads together. Disagreements are productive. Everyone knows the direction and takes responsibility.
The norming phase feels fine from the inside. There’s calm, no open conflicts, a kind of harmony. But that harmony isn’t proof that things are going well. It’s proof that nobody dares to say what they really think.
The step towards Performing is not a matter of working harder or more motivation. You need a context that triggers desired behaviour.
Behaviours such as how you run meetings, how decisions are made, how ownership is distributed. The difference doesn’t lie in more motivation, but in making the right choices easier.
A no-obligation conversation of 30 minutes. No sales pitch, just honest advice.
Schedule an introduction →Five shifts that participants mention time and again.
No more motivational talks. You design the working environment so that people naturally do the right thing. Changes land, decisions are carried out, and teams move along without resistance.
Your management team uses behavioural science as a shared lens for leadership decisions. No endless meetings, but making sharp choices based on insight into how people think and act.
You design the context in which taking responsibility is the norm. No micromanagement, no finger-pointing. The management team operates as owners, not as managers waiting on each other.
You see that most team conflicts aren’t a people problem but a design problem. You build interventions that remove friction before it escalates. Even amongst yourselves.
You operate as a collaborative leadership team with a shared language, shared habits and shared responsibility. The whole organisation feels the difference.
Challenge
NewCold was growing rapidly internationally and needed a shared leadership language that works for leaders and emerging leaders across all continents.
Result
Leaders and emerging leaders from around the world trained through one shared leadership programme. SUE became a permanent partner for leadership development.
“SUE is our permanent partner in developing our leadership programme. SUE helps our leaders with a common language to resolve conflict, motivate teams, and continue developing our entrepreneurial culture. We have now trained leaders and emerging leaders from across the world.”
Influential Leadership designs the context in which your team makes the step to Performing. With behavioural science as the method. In five months.
Each participant starts with a personal conversation of 45 minutes. In complete confidence, we discuss personal leadership challenges, team dynamics, and the specific behavioural patterns someone wants to break.
The foundation of the programme. In two intensive days we lay the groundwork: you work with the nine habits of high-performance teams, diagnose where you stand as a team, and design the first concrete interventions.
After the kick-off, four monthly deep dives of 1.5 hours via MS Teams follow. In these sessions you deepen the frameworks and high-performance leadership habits you have learned, and adjust where needed. This ensures the skills you have acquired are truly converted into lasting habits.
Each programme includes 8 hours of individual coaching per participant and monthly follow-up sessions. Change isn’t an event — it’s a design you maintain.

€34,900 excl. VAT for the full programme. Including intakes, two-day kick-off, 4 deep dives, 8 hours coaching per participant and all materials. Compare that to the cost of a management team that isn’t aligned.
A management team is a collection of individuals each managing their own domain. You meet together, but lead separately. A leadership team leads together at organisational level. Must-win battles that everyone knows and champions, clear decision-making with ownership, disagreements that are welcome and productive. The difference isn’t in the people, but in the context they operate in. And that context can be designed.
The programme is designed for leadership teams of 6 to 15 people: board teams, management teams and senior leadership teams who want to deepen their approach to leadership in a structural way. Participants typically already have leadership experience and want to move to the next level — not through inspirational sessions, but through behavioural science methods that truly stick.
Most leadership programmes focus on inspiration and the individual leader, with a standard curriculum of 1 to 2 days. After six weeks the energy is gone and the old pattern is back. Influential Leadership works fundamentally differently: we focus on the leadership team as a system. We use behavioural design and interventions instead of awareness. The programme runs for 5 months and is fully bespoke. Including 8 hours of personal coaching per participant.
The programme runs for 5 months. It consists of an individual intake (45 minutes per participant), a two-day kick-off, monthly deep dives of 1.5 hours via MS Teams, and 8 hours of individual coaching per participant. The time investment per participant is on average 2 to 3 hours per month, excluding the kick-off.
The investment is €34,900 excl. VAT for the full 5-month programme for a team of up to 15 participants. This includes all intakes, the two-day kick-off, monthly deep dives, 8 hours coaching per participant and all materials. Venue costs for the kick-off are not included and are agreed separately.
Yes. Every programme begins with an intake conversation with the leadership team and individual intakes per participant. Based on these, we prioritise which of the nine habits deserve the most attention in your specific situation. The nine habits are the framework, not the script.
The programme is delivered in English as standard for international teams. It can also be delivered fully in Dutch for Dutch-speaking teams or organisations where Dutch is preferred. We discuss this in the introductory conversation.
Three steps from first contact to a running programme.
30 minutes. We discuss your leadership challenge and whether Influential Leadership is the right approach. No pitch, no pressure.
We put together a bespoke proposal: which of the nine habits will be prioritised, what the schedule looks like, what fits your agenda.
Once agreed, we start with the individual intakes. Then follows the two-day kick-off and the full 5-month programme.
